E-mail Forwarding in Hosting
The Hepsia Control Panel, that is provided with all our hosting plans, will allow you to forward any e-mail in the account to a second one without any difficulty. You can do this either during the creation of a new mailbox or at any time afterwards in case you decide that you need this function. During the process, you'll be able to consider if you need a duplicate of the messages to be kept on the server. This way, you will have a backup and you will steer clear of the probability to lose an e-mail if the forwarding is to an exterior address, that's briefly inaccessible. This option can be enabled and deactivated any time, but if you use e-mails for crucial matters, it is best to use it, because no records of the emails are kept on the server in case the option is not enabled. Any time you determine that you don't need forwarding any longer, it will take just a click to deactivate it.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Servers
For people with a semi-dedicated server through our company, it will take just a couple of mouse clicks inside the Email Manager part of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward the e-mails configured on our end to a third-party address. In the exact same section you will also be able to observe how many of your email addresses are forwarded and where the inbound emails are going. You can activate or disable a forwarding account whenever you want and throughout the process you may also decide if a backup copy of the e-mails needs to be kept on our servers or not. Although this feature is not a requirement, it's very valuable as you will have a copy of the messages on our end in case that something happens with the third-party email address. Even when they've got simply a short-term issue, you risk losing e-mail messages as once our system receives and forwards an e-mail message, absolutely nothing will be maintained on our end if you haven’t chosen a copy to be saved.
